Hi! We’re Maria and Federico, co-founders of Payfud. With a background in software engineering, Federico brings deep expertise in automation and marketing, while I (Maria) come from a user experience design background with over three years working in the hospitality industry. Together, we’ve built Payfud to address the challenges restaurant owners face every day.

While working as a waitress, bartender, and designer in restaurants, I saw how much the customer experience relies on the staff, and how demanding the job is for the owners—especially for first-timers. After speaking with over 50 restaurant owners, it became clear that many were struggling not because of a lack of passion, but because they didn’t have the right systems in place to attract and retain customers or improve their overall operations. Most were overwhelmed by daily tasks and unable to focus on growing their business.

That’s when we decided to create Payfud. Our platform automates key tasks like marketing, customer engagement, and menu management, giving restaurant owners more time to focus on what they love—serving great food and talking with their guests. Federico’s experience with automation has allowed us to streamline processes that were previously manual, helping restaurants increase sales, improve customer experiences, and retain regulars with less effort.
